Paducah, KY – 1969's True Grit brought star John Wayne the only Oscar he ever received in his fifty year career, and it's a part of the American film canon. The 2010 version, helmed by the Coen Brothers and starring Jeff Bridges as Marshal Rooster Cogburn, hasn't gotten to that point just yet, but it has made it onto the American Film Institute's list of the top films of 2010.
