Fort Campbell, KY – Around 1,000 Fort Campbell soldiers return to the base this week. A group of 300 soldiers from the Third Brigade Combat Team arrive Wednesday. Two-hundred soldiers come in Friday, and three different flights of soldiers arrive Saturday. Fort Campbell Spokesman Rick Rzepka says this is part of ongoing homecomings for the third brigade's Rakkasan soldiers, who have been on a 12-month deployment.
