Murray, Ky. – Friday, Murray's Playhouse in the Park opens Tuesdays with Morrie. The play is based on a memoir chronicling the relationship between retired professor Morrie Schwartz and his former student, the bestselling writer Mitch Albom, also known for his book The Five People You Meet in Heaven. They reacquainted when Mitch saw Morrie on Nightline and discovered his former professor suffered from ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease. Jacque Day spoke with director Michael Robinson, along with Edwin Richerson and Joshua Byrne, who play Morrie and Mitch.

For this run of performances, the Box of Frogs high school acting troupe is offering babysitting services. The troupe is fundraising for a New York trip.

Tuesdays with Morrie runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through June 19.
