Murray, KY – Two weeks ago nearly 1-thousand people played games, munched on fair food like funnel cakes and snow cones in Pontotoc Park in Fulton, Kentucky as the town revived its Banana Festival after a nearly 30 year absence. In a town damaged by the national recession and local economic downturn Seth Helton reports on whether this event could be a barometer for change.
