Benton, KY – Commercial development and farmland can be friend and foe in our region. Friend for the economy and foe for the environment. In the case of the environmental challenge, hundreds of thousands of acres of former Kentucky wetlands now serve as farmland. As Rose Krzton-Presson reports, one man is leading an organization to restore wetland habitats in western Kentucky with the help of an endangered bat.
