Paducah, KY – Paducah-based National Weather Service Senior Forecaster Chris Noles says he's been researching the increase in the number of tornado warnings in the region and the fact that a high percentage of alarms prove to be false. He and other forecasters worry false alarms may be among the causes of a growing public sense of complacency about these warnings. Kate Lochte speaks with Noles about his research on the topic.

Chris Noles is a senior forecaster in Paducah's National Weather Service Weather Forecasting office.
