Murray, KY – Murray's Playhouse in the Park opens their musical holiday production tonight. The Sound of Music is a classic based on the true story of the famous singing Von Trapp family. Set in Austria prior to WWII, the play follows the Von Trapp's story as a new governess comes into the house and brings a new attitude and reconnects the family.
Rose Krzton-Presson spoke with two of Playhouse's actors- Jeff Miller who plays the pater familias Captain Von Trapp and Beca Kaplin who plays the oldest Von Trapp child, Liesl.
