Murray, KY – Pokey Lafarge and the South City Three are a St. Louis based band with their own style of music that seems to be resurrected from the 1920's and 1930's. Front man Lafarge is a slim dapper singer clad in a dark suit with his hair slicked back basically he looks like someone snatched out of a speakeasy in the prohibition era. Pokey Lafarge and the South City three perform with Colonel J.D. Wilkes and his bluegrass project the Dirt Daubers at Paducah's Maiden Alley Cinema on Wednesday, December 7th. Chad Lampe speaks with Pokey Lafarge ahead of his performance.
