Murray, KY – If you've lived in the Four Rivers region for any length of time, you may be familiar with Berry Craig's work. He was a long-time journalist for the Paducah Sun and the Associated Press before taking up teaching history at Paducah's West Kentucky Community and Technical College in 1989. You may have even heard his work on this station on last year's Kentucky Civil War Dispatches. Not surprisingly, Craig has also written four books about Commonwealth history. Hidden History of Western Kentucky, his latest, focuses on the region in which he was born and raised. Todd Hatton speaks with Craig about the new book and what drives his love of history.
His fourth book, Hidden History of Western Kentucky, is available in bookstores throughout said region and online. Proceeds from the book go to help fund scholarships at WKCTC.
