Stranded Broadway Casts Entertain The Delayed At LaGuardia

SCOTT SIMON, HOST:

What can you do when you're stuck in an airport? Slurp a smoothie; have a squishy, cheesy airport pretzel; read a splashy magazine - and the kind you say you never read. Go ahead; you're traveling - calories, gossip, you're stuck! It doesn't count. But this week, the casts of "Aladdin" and "The Lion King," two Broadway musicals, got stuck by rain for six hours at LaGuardia Airport. They didn't just head for the cinnamon rolls. They burst into song.
