Winners from the American Quilter’s Society 2017 Spring Paducah QuiltWeek quilt contest have been announced. The popular event, drawing thousands to far west Kentucky is underway in Paducah.
More than 400 quilters from 47 states and 15 countries entered the contest to compete for $125,000 in cash prizes.
Best of show was awarded to Janet Stone’s “Ewe Are My Sunshine” from Kansas, which received a $20,000 purchase award and will become property of the National Quilt Museum.
The winning quilts will be on display at AQS Quiltweek through Saturday. Tickets for QuiltWeek are available at Schroeder Expo Center.
