A software development company recently opened its doors near the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Nashville-based Core10 works with companies in the financial tech industry, including banking, lending, securities, insurance and start-ups.
Co-founder Lee Farabaugh said the company was impressed with the quality of UT Martin’s computer science program. They decided to locate a branch in Martin to make use of the emerging talent pool.
There are currently three employees at the Martin branch, all of whom are recent UTM computer science graduates.
