A meal preparation company is expecting to create 50 jobs with a new facility in Benton.
Governor Matt Bevin announced Thursday the $2.9 million distribution facility. MegaFit Meals prepares “fresh cooked, healthy meals” to ship to bodybuilders and athletes across the country. Executives plan to build a 16,000-square-foot facility within Southwest One Industrial Park to accommodate the company’s growth.
Brothers PG and Billy Georgiou co-founded the business at their parents’ restaurant in Benton. They also own four gyms in west Kentucky.
State Representative Chris Freeland says the project could help recruit other businesses to the region.
