Cinema International Presents: Alegría
The story of a independent-minded woman and her soon-to-marry niece, Alegría is set in a multiethnic Spanish enclave in North Africa. Written, directed, and produced by an all-female team, the film explores the global Jewish diaspora and the relationships between the Abrahamic faiths in the 21st Century. Presented as part of The Spanish Film Club series with the support of Pragda and the Secretary of State for Culture of Spain.
