This summer, sign up for some fantastic, food-related fun with the Cooking at the Convention Center series! Explore, learn, and create with Executive Chef Thomas Ferguson! There’s a 4-day teen culinary camp! We’ll host a class on quick and healthy meals for the busy individual. We will offer couples' classes. We’ll have grilling, smoking, and bourbon tasting classes, and more! Spots are limited, so call us today and join the fun!
NEW ORLEANS EXPERIENCE
- Learn the “holy trinity” of New Orleans cooking and use cajun spices to create Jambalaya
- Learn the perfect pairings to highlight creole flavors including salad, red beans and rice, bananas foster, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, and smoked beer. (2 drinks each provided. Other beer and wine available for purchase.)
- Learn Kitchen Skills: Seasoning, Saucing, Sauteing, Emulsification, Maceration, and Knife Skills
