NOTE: These programs are held on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of the month only.

The Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library (HCCPL) is excited to announce Saturday morning Storytime and a Saturday Sensory Friendly Play and Grow!

Saturday Storytime for children ages 0-5 will be held every second Saturday of the month from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with the first program on Saturday, September 10th.

Storytime is an opportunity for young children (0-5) to interact with their caregiver/s with books, music, dancing, and activities. Storytime will be in the children’s area, unless otherwise instructed. Pre-registration is NOT required.

Saturday Sensory Friendly Play & Grow for children 2 years of age up to 4th grade friends who have sensitivity to noise, light, or large numbers of people, will be held the 3rd Saturday of the month, with the first program on Saturday, September 17th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the HCCPL Community Room.

Sensory Friendly Play & Grow is a time for children and their caregiver/s to practice gross and fine motor activities, as well as social interaction with an emphasis on sensory activities and keeping the noise, light, and smaller groups.

Sensory Play & Grow attendance will be limited and registration will be required. To register you child/children, contact Jane Irwin at youthservices@hccpl.org or 270-887-4262 ext. 116.
