Henry County Archive and Genealogy Library: Historic Treasures Show & Tell

The Henry County Archives and Genealogy Library will host a “Historic Treasures Show & Tell” on Thursday, August 3rd beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Henry County Archivist Stephanie Tayloe will present the program in the genealogy room located in Weston Hall at 215 Grove Blvd. in Paris. The public is invited to attend.

The archives acquires, cleans, files, and preserves local government and other materials of historical value dating back to Henry County’s founding in 1821. The genealogy library assists genealogists and other researchers in locating records. In addition to Tayloe, the repository is staffed and operated by dedicated volunteers.

The program will follow a brief meeting of the Henry County Historical Society that will include the election of officers and board members for the 2023-24 year. The society will collect annual membership dues of $10 for individuals.
