This month’s selection is “Schrader’s Chord,” by Scott Leeds. A limited number of copies are available for check out at the front desk.
Dark Reads Book Discussion Group is dedicated to reading thriller, mystery, horror and true crime genres.

The bell hooks Book Club is an informal group who will come together in conversation of Hopkinsville native bell hooks and her extensive work. All are welcome to join the discussion.
The group continues its discussion of bell hooks’s 2000 book All About Love: New Visions with Chapter 8 “Community: Loving Communion” and Chapter 9 “Mutuality: The Heart of Love.”
Writer, cultural critic, feminist icon, and Hopkinsville native bell hooks explores what causes a polarized society and how to heal divisions. This New York Times bestselling book offers the truth about love in an expansive context and gives inspiration to help us instill caring, compassion, and strength in all our interactions.
