“Hello! My name is Evelyn Bangart. I am a rising junior at Hopkinsville High School. As a multisport athlete, I see the true value of supporting and introducing children in the community to a sport. Not only is it good for someone’s social, mental, and physical wellbeing, the experience creates everlasting memories and life lessons, plus it is just lots of fun. The YMCA and I have partnered to help those young athletes who are unable to pay the sports fee. We are hosting a vender sale August 9, 2025, where a community member or business rents a table space to sell their items (new or used). The money earned from the table space rental fee would go towards sponsoring a child’s sport fee. The community member would keep the money they make from selling their items.

I graciously ask for your support by renting a vendor spot, sharing the event information, shopping at the event, or making a monetary donation towards this cause through the YMCA and Evelyn Bangart Fundraiser Team Up for Kids. Registration forms are at the front desk of the YMCA.
