You are invited to Vine & Dine -- a "grape escape" featuring the culinary genius of Sara Bradley, award-winning chef and owner of freight house!

SIP: Explore one of the most renowned regions in the wine world through the characteristics of the different grapes and wines that define Bordeaux -- from the sérmillon and sauvignon blanc to the five noble Bordeaux red grapes - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec - discover the palette of grapes that defines Bordeaux and forever revolutionized the world of wine.

SAVOUR: The theme of this year's Vine & Dine event showcases the diverse grape varieties that thrive in Bourdeaux and the exceptional wines produced in this renowned region. Guests are invited to embark on a guided tasting journey across The Carson Center stage, participating in a culinary event designed to enhance their appreciation for grapes, the wines we savour, and the foods we pair with them.

Each tasting station offers a distinctive food and wine pairing experience, meticulously curated based on the varieties, colors, origins, and the flavors of the grapes. Chef Sara Bradley, celebrity chef and owner of freight house, finalist on Top Chef Season 16 and Top Chef: World All Stars, and James Beard Award nominee, will once again wow guests with thoughtfully crafted dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients. Each course will be perfectly paired with premium wines selected by our wine partner, Wagner Wine and Spirits.

SUPPORT: Sip, savour, support, and celebrate while supporting a meaningful cause. All proceeds benefit The Carson Center, support our mission, and promote the arts in our region through the Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities.

Rhythm & Poetry for the Resilience Empowerment Program

A New Breed Veterans Coalition's Resilience Empowerment Program supports the community with essential needs, transitional living, disaster relief, and Christmas assistance. Your donations directly impact lives and help build resilience. Join us for a night of food, drinks, and poetry by Paducah's finest artists. Help raise funds to strengthen the community.

Thursday, August 21 at 7 pm

Join the Murray Lions Club at the Murray Downtown Farmers Market on Saturday, August 23 and help us fill the truck for Needline. Buy some food at the market and/or bring some canned goods with you to help us feed the community!

Join us for the sleepiest race in town! This pajama-themed 0.5K at Paducah Beer Werks includes cozy costumes, fun laps around the lot, and beer at the hydration station—all to raise funds for Child Watch & CASA of Western Kentucky. Registration includes a super soft t-shirt, pint glass, and sticker. Prizes for best costume, most creative finish, and top fundraisers!

Woofstock: A Day of Music, Art & Community for Calloway County Animal Shelter Join us on August 23rd for Woofstock, an all-day celebration featuring live music, local vendors, and a vibrant creative atmosphere—all in support of a great cause! Enjoy performances from multiple bands, expertly curated by Freedom Sound Productions, browse unique artwork from talented creators, and take part in an exciting raffle with fantastic prizes

Tickets are only $10, and kids 12 and under get in free! Every dollar supports the Calloway County Animal Shelter, helping animals in need find care and loving homes. Come for the music, stay for the experience, and make a difference in the lives of shelter pets!
