The Western Kentucky Polar Plunge & 5K challenges thousands of brave jumpers to plunge into icy water in support of 11,000 Special Olympics Kentucky athletes. The Polar Plunge & 5K helps fund year-round sports and health programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Participants are challenged to raise money and earn prizes! All benefitting Special Olympics athletes.

Join us Saturday, March 7th at Hopkinsville Brewing Company for a beginner’s Mahjong class benefiting CASA by the Lakes!
Whether you’ve always wanted to learn or just need a refresher, this fun and welcoming class is the perfect place to start.
Instructor Beth Fischer will provide all supplies and guide you step-by-step through the basics of Mahjong. Come learn a new game, enjoy great company, and support a meaningful cause — all in one afternoon!
Ticket price includes pizza buffet and non-alcoholic drink.

Hosted by Leadership Murray, the Golden Gala is an elegant evening dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community. Join us for a night of fellowship and purpose as we come together to support a cause that truly matters.

All proceeds from the Golden Gala will benefit the Senior Citizens Center Meals on Wheels program, helping ensure that local seniors receive nutritious meals and vital daily connection. For many seniors, Meals on Wheels is more than a meal; it’s a lifeline that supports health, independence, and dignity for those who need it most because every senior deserves a warm meal.

Guests are invited to arrive as doors open at 6:00 p.m., with dinner served at 7:00 p.m. The evening will take place at the Calloway County Public Library. For entrance to the Golden Gala, please use the North Entrance doors.

Dress to impress, celebrate generosity, and be part of an unforgettable evening that gives back to our seniors and strengthens our community.
