Friday, May 6 McCracken Jazz will be performing their Spring Concert in the C-Plant Performing Arts Center at McCracken County High School. It will be an evening of Jazz Standards and Newer Music for Big Band beginning at 7pm. McCracken Jazz includes two Big Bands and multiple combos stressing jazz styles and improvisation. The D-Band (Developmental Band) is for students new to Jazz music emphasizing the basics. The McBig Band, the more advanced group, is for experienced players playing big band charts from many styles and eras and performs at concerts, parties and community events all around Paducah and McCracken County, even a wedding reception! Come to McCracken County High School and hear some really good Big Band JAZZ!
