Come Rain or Shine, the Celebration Continues!

The Earth and Environmental Sciences Department cordially invites everyone to our Solar Eclipse Celebration! Set to take place on Monday, April 8th, from 12-3 in the Breezeway of Blackburn Science Building, this event welcomes students, faculty, and staff to witness the cosmic wonder of a solar eclipse. With our campus perfectly positioned to witness an impressive 98% totality, attendees will have a unique opportunity to safely observe this rare celestial spectacle using specially provided solar eclipse glasses. Alongside the eclipse viewing, participants can anticipate a variety of engaging activities and games that will foster community camaraderie and connection. Complimentary food and drinks will be provided. In the event of inclement weather the celebration will be moved indoors to Blackburn 320.
