Paddlefest '25 is family friendly event sponsored by Kayakers United for a Cause Facebook group. The focus this first year is to raise money for the Marshall County Rescue Squad who are acting as safety escorts for the festival's mass group "Sunday Sunrise Paddle" on a portion of the Kentucky Lake Water Trail and as a "Thank You" to all veterans, active military, and first responders for the service they give to community and country. Main activities scheduled include Kayak and bank fishing tournaments for bass, catfish and panfish, the Sunday Sunrise Paddle, group paddles on seven of the most popular bays on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, a Kayak and Paddle board Demo Day on Green Turtle Bay Beach, a trip down Little River, "Glow Your Boat" night paddle, "Water Cannon Wars". , Campground Community Suppers like BBQ Night and Fish Fry Night, tours of LBL attractions, and much more! Raffle Tickets are available for a donation of 6 tickets for $5 for an Americana Quilt and a gift Bag from TN Brewing Co. available online and at Demo Day.
