Maestro Ponti conducts the Kentucky premiere of Peter Boyer's new work celebrating 100 years of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. The brand new Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue will be heard alongside Gerswhin's classic, with soloist and champion of Boyer's new composition, Jeffrey Biegel. After intermission, your PSO tackles Bartók's tour de force, the Concerto for Orchestra.
