Spring is here and it’s time to start planting those gardens! Wildflowers and other native plants make great additions to anyone’s garden – they attract butterflies and birds, often require less water and care than other plants, and look beautiful! Treat Mom to some new plants for her garden or pick out some for yourself!
A list of species available for purchase can be seen in the discussion tab. Stock is limited and plants are first come, first served. Cash and card accepted.
Prices are as follows: $12 for large plants, $6 for small plants. We will offer a bulk deal: 3 large plants for $30 and 3 small plants for $15. All proceeds from the sale benefit the gardens, animals, and programming at the Woodlands Nature Station.

From Mischief, Broadway masters of comedy, comes the smash hit farce. Welcome to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award–winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!

At 2:30pm Sunday, May 12, 2024 Todd Hill and his Orchestra will present their fifth annual Mother’s Day Concert at Murray First United Methodist Church. The big band is in its 41 st year and will feature Kayla Marie Little on vocals, the leader on piano, Derek Jones on clarinet and alto saxophone, Andy Brown on tenor sax, Bo Clayton on trumpet, John Madole on drums along with thirteen more pro jazz musicians from throughout the region.
The concert is free, and will be performed to raise funds through a love offering for the church’s Choral Scholars Program which assists Murray State music students with their studies in exchange for serving in the Chancel Choir at FUMC, all while learning to serve as church leaders themselves. Dr. Hill says “It doesn’t matter how many of the concerts you’ve attending before, this show will pack a lot of new material for you that you haven’t seen or heard before, including a centenary salute to the Roaring 20s, a World War II Tribute, and many more surprises along the way. Come enjoy a remarkable afternoon of music with your whole family!”
