Hopkinsville Community College Chief Academic Officer Kristen Wilson is leaving the school for a doctoral teaching position at Western Kentucky University.
An email sent to HCC students and faculty states that Wilson will leave late next month.
Officials say an interim C-A-O will likely be named while the school seeks a new president as well.
Wilson was in charge of academic affairs at H-C-C, and has served in that capacity since January 2012.
