LBL Woodlands Nature Station hosts a whole day of educational, family friendly programs with cool and crawly critters including snakes, bugs, bats and turtles this Saturday. Explore the exciting world of cool, crawly critters at LBL's Nature Station this Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Learn about these unusual animals from scientists and naturalists who study them.
Rob Mies, director of the Organization for Bat Conservation brings live bats. Bob Tarter of the Natural History Educational Company of Midsouth presents other animals from reptiles to insects. Also, experts from Murray State, Austin Peay and University of Kentucky stop by to talk about the animals they study.
There's games, crafts, jokes, and lots of critters to see.
Tickets are $5 for ages 5 and up, free for ages 4 and under.
