Second Wednesdays monthly, we meet one (or more) puppies up for adoption at the Humane Society of Calloway County, as well as an update on events and activities from director Kathy Hodge. Today, we met Mona, a miniature pinscher/terrier mix. Even though she's 12 weeks old, she's still incredibly tiny and will probably remain a small dog when fully grown. She was calm and curious in the studio, and appeared to enjoy being held by WKMS staff and students. Todd Hatton speaks with Kathy Hodge on Sounds Good.
From Petfinder.com:
Mona is a cute miniature pinscher/terrier mix who was an owner surrender with her sibling directly to the Humane Society. She is being fostered in a home with men, women, children, and other dogs. She has a great personality and is being crate trained. She weighed 2.4 lbs on 9/24/14 and will remain a small dog when grown. She is visiting the Humane Society office so is meeting lots of people, cats, and other dogs. She is current on her first puppy shots, has been wormed, and is on flea prevention. She is approximately 9 weeks old. If you have the time, patience, and love for Mona, please fill out an adoption application. Her adoption donation will be $175 with $75 refunded to you upon proof of spay at 6 months of age. Thank you for your interest in Mona!
