KSP received an anonymous tip through text of an indoor grow operation at a house on Ridgeland Drive in Mayfield.  Troopers performed a “knock-and-talk” at the house and were able to gain enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for the residence.

Troopers then located five marijuana plants, six long guns, two pistols, two silencers, eight storage boxes of ammunition, a tactical vest and equipment used to grow pot.  They also found two additional plants disposed of in a garbage can outside.

Smoyer and Shaw are lodged in Graves County Jail, while the investigation continues.
