The Kentucky Farm Bureau is hosting a forum this Friday in Murray for the candidates hoping to succeed retiring 1st District Congressman Ed Whitfield.
All four Republican candidates - Jason Batts, Miles Caughey, James Comer and Michael Pape - will be in attendance. On the Democratic side, Sam Gaskins has confirmed he'll appear at the "Measure the Candidates" forum. The other Democratic candidate, Paducah attorney Tom Osborne, will not attend because he's going on spring break with his family.
The forum will be held Friday evening at the Curris Center from 6:30-8:30.
