The US 68/KY 80 Lake Barkley Bridge in Trigg County is restricted to one lane of traffic early this afternoon.
A subcontractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is performing concrete deck patching on the route.
Motorists should be alert for alternating traffic flow controlled by flaggers until crews finish around 4 P.M.
At the same time, work on a new bridge at the site resumes. KYTC officials expect that construction to wrap up next year.
The existing bridge is located at about the nine mile marker in Canton and serves as the eastern entrance to Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.
