The Fancy Farm Picnic is three days away and Senator Mitch McConnell and Governor Matt Bevin have not yet confirmed whether they will attend.
The annual political event, famed for its barbecue and a spirited atmosphere, is on Saturday in Graves County.
Confirmed speakers on the Republican side include first District Congressman James Comer, Auditor Mike Harmon, District one state Senator Stan Humphries and District two state Representative Richard Heath.
Democrats confirmed to speak are Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, Attorney General Andy Beshear, first District Congressional challenger and professor Paul Walker and state House District two challenger and elementary teacher Charlotte Goddard.
Senator Rand Paul, State Treasurer Allison Ball and Lieutenant Governor Jenean Hampton will not be attending.
Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles is the emcee. The annual event is a fundraiser for St. Jerome Catholic Church.
