Incumbent David Kustoff is the winner in the Republican primary in Tennessee's 8th Congressional District.
Kustoff held off radiologist and radio station owner George Flinn in the primary in the West Tennessee district that includes the suburbs of Memphis and more than a dozen mostly rural counties.
A former U.S. attorney, Kustoff is seeking his second term representing the solidly Republican district in the House. He has been endorsed by President Donald Trump.
Flinn went after Kustoff in radio ads by questioning some of his votes in Congress and his conservative qualifications.
