Supreme Court Candidate Endorsed By The Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police

Committee to Elect Shea Nickell

The Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police is endorsing a candidate for The Kentucky Supreme Court.

The organization endorsed Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge Shea Nickell this week. Nickell faces State Senator Whitney Westerfield in the special election for the Supreme Court’s District One seat.

The seat became vacant after the retirement of former Justice Bill Cunningham. Cunningham is now an instructor at Murray State University.

The special election will take place on November 5th alongside the general election for constitutional offices.
