McLean County Resident Dies From The Coronavirus

  The Green River District Health Department is reporting a McLean County resident hospitalized with the novel coronavirus has died.

 

Health officials in a press release said the resident had been hospitalized at Baptist Health Madisonville hospital. This is the second death related to COVID-19 in the seven-county coverage area for the Green River District Health Department, with the first coronavirus death in Daviess County. 

 

Health officials are also reporting an additional locally reported coronavirus case. in Union County. 

 

“The lab confirmed cases are only a portion of what is in the community. People must continue to be vigilant in helping stop the spread of COVID-19,” said District Public Health Director Clay Horton in a statement.
