Easterseals West Kentucky Staff Member Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Easterseals West Kentucky

Easterseals West Kentucky announced Tuesday that a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus.

Writing in a Facebook post, CEO Danny Carroll said the employee works in the organization’s Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC). He said the staffer is experiencing flu-like symptoms that do not warrant hospitalization. The employee likely contracted the virus from someone outside the organization, Carroll said.

Carroll said Easterseals West Kentucky leadership has been working with public health officials to ensure the safety of their clients and employees. He said the staff is strictly following guidance put forward to safely keep the facility open.

“We wish our staff member a very speedy recovery and we thank you all for your continued support of Easterseals West Kentucky and the quality services we provide,” Carroll said.
