Hopkinsville, KY – The Hopkinsville-Christian County Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee voted unanimously last night to honor all unredeemed, unexpired CertifiChecks gift certificates. The company, which provides gift certificates for chambers of commerce nationwide, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Chamber President Betsy Shelton says merchants and consumers with valid gift certificates can redeem them at the chamber between March 16 and May 1. She says there's no way of knowing how much the certificates will cost the chamber until people begin redeeming them.
