Hopkinsville, KY – Kentucky is receiving more than $25.3 million in federal weatherization and energy funding, including more than $433,000 in the region. Hopkinsville and McCracken County will receive grants from the Department of Energy for projects that reduce energy use and fossil fuel emissions and improve energy efficiency. These projects could include the development and implementation of advanced building codes or the development of energy-conserving transportation programs.
