Paducah, KY – Paducah City Commissioners will vote next Tuesday on buying the Executive Inn from its mortgage-holder for $1.8 million. The city has been negotiating with Logan Asset Backed Funds since April. The city estimates the final cost to be over three million dollars, settling liens and other expenses. Mayor Bill Paxton says this is the city's chance to bring a first-class hotel next to the Julian Carroll Convention Center, a staple of tourism in Paducah. Several commissioners are expected to support the move.
