Madisonville, KY – The Madisonville-Hopkins County Public Library Board remains deadlocked on the library's future location. The Madisonville Messenger reports city officials want the library to return to its original downtown location, but Director Lisa Wigley says that's the most expensive option. The board is also considering selling their property and purchasing a new facility. The library moved to a temporary location at the town mall in August due to structural problems at the old location.
