Obama Nominee for West KY's US Attorney

Washington D.C. – President Obama has nominated Louisville attorney David Hale to fill the position of U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky. Hale was among the nominees for five states announced by the White House yesterday. Hale had previously served as an assistant U.S. Attorney for western Kentucky from 1995 until 1999 and is now in private practice. Hale graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1989 and the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1992. The Western District comprises the 14 westernmost counties in the Commonwealth.
