Trigg County, KY – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports snow and ice have created difficult driving conditions across the region. Kentucky State Police report no major traffic snarls, however a snow plow slid off the roadway and overturned in Trigg County this morning. There were no injuries. Warmer temperatures today aided road clearing efforts but frigid temperatures tonight may prompt refreezing and create unforeseen slick spots. Transportation cabinet officials urge motorists to avoid unnecessary travel this evening, and plan for a longer commute tomorrow.
