Clarksville, TN – With only a fifth of the job left unfinished, workers for the excavation subcontractor at Clarksville, Tennessee's Marina site have walked off the job over unspecified performance issues. The main contractor says the issue will be resolved this week and the project isn't in jeopardy, though it's likely another company will be hired to finish the work. The large-scale excavation of nearly a million cubic yards has been removed from the basin, with only another 50,000 remaining. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the City is concerned and watching the situation closely, but has not changed any of its plans.
