Paducah, KY – McCracken County is considering relaxing regulations on subdivision development during the slower economic times. Judge-Executive Van Newberry told the Fiscal Court yesterday simply changing when the county takes over street maintenance and not requiring a top-inch finish on constructed roads could do the trick. The Paducah Sun reports Fiscal Court members will decide as early as next month on the changes, which could see the county taking care of a developing subdivisions' streets after only a quarter of the lots are built.
