Paducah, KY – The trial of a former Mercy Regional Ambulance worker charged in connection with stealing controlled drugs continues today in McCracken Circuit Court. 13 jurors will again hear evidence against Marcus Edwin West. His former colleague Raymond Huffmaster pleaded guilty to three counts of drug theft and is facing up to three years in prison. The Paducah Sun reports West and Huffmaster allegedly removed Valium and Fentanyl, a pain killer, from vials in sealed containers in their ambulance, replacing them with a saline solution.
