Paducah, KY – A jury is expected to decide today who's telling the truth about the drug usage of two former Mercy Regional Ambulance workers. Marcus Edwin West denies using or helping his co-worker Raymond Huffmaster to remove Valium and Fentanyl, a pain killer, from vials in sealed containers in their ambulance. Huffmaster pleaded guilty to three counts of drug theft and is facing up to three years in prison. He claims West helped him replace the drugs with a saline solution and also took part in using them. The Paducah Sun reports West admits knowing Huffmaster was stealing the drugs, but didn't alert authorities because he considered him a friend.
