Paducah, KY – One of the region's largest employers is planning a $62 million expansion at its Princeton cookie and cracker plant. Bremner Food officials plan to expand the facility's square footage and double the acreage surrounding it. The added room will bring in new production lines and add warehouse space. The move comes after Kentucky's Economic Development Finance Authority gave preliminary approval yesterday for $5 million in tax incentives to the company. The Paducah Sun reports those credits come in waivers for corporate state income and city payroll taxes with the expectation the company will create 111 additional jobs averaging $15 an hour over the next decade.
