Paducah, KY – The Paducah Public School board has approved an estimated nine million dollars to renovate Paducah Tilghman High School, which is in need of an update. Renovations will begin June 1 with the first phase of work to be completed before fall classes begin in August. The first phase of the two-summer project will involve replacing and cleaning exterior glass blocks, replacing windows, upgrading the heating and air conditioning systems, installing an elevator, renovating gymnasium locker rooms and renovating the auditorium. During the summer of 2011, renovation work will involve classrooms, the main lobby and the rest of the school.
