Paris, TN – Proposed cuts to TennCare may not heavily affect Henry County Medical Center this year. Hospital CEO Tom Gee says the Tennessee Hospital Association is supporting legislation and has began negotiations to implement a fee on hospitals to gain federal matching funds for TennCare. He recently attended the association's legislation day in Nashville. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports those funds will be used to offset the cuts proposed this year by Governor Phil Bredesen.
