Clarksville, TN – Excavation work could soon resume at Clarksville's Marina after a subcontractor pulled out of the project with 80% completed and filed for bankruptcy. The city's main contractor TMS says work could begin again in about 10 days. The company tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle the work is insured by a surety bond, but because of the bankruptcy, a 30-day stay has been automatically applied. TMS is working with the insurer and the subcontractor's attorneys to lift the stay.
